The Vísi corporate office has been a whirlwind of activity these past several months—with products in the pipeline, new promotions, events all around the world, conference calls to hold, and more and more orders to ship, new Partners to welcome, an expanding corporate staff to manage our growth…it’s easy to see why there isn’t much time for quiet reflection. And most of the time, that’s just how I like it because many demands signal many opportunities and that means Vísi is growing.
But yesterday, I was returning from the airport (about an hour away from the corporate office). The radio was off. My cell phone stayed in my pocket. It was a crisp, blue-sky afternoon and freeway traffic hummed along, silent and smooth. For the first time in many weeks, I had a chance to be alone with my thoughts. Watching the sun low in the sky as I drove, I was overwhelmed by a spirit of incredible gratitude—not coincidentally brought on by the impending Thanksgiving holiday, I’m sure.
I feel intensely humbled to be the CEO of Vísi, particularly at the end of a year like 2014. We’ve had a remarkable year, and I can FEEL it fueling us forward.
We have great products; I admit to regularly browsing Facebook and reading testimonial after testimonial from customers who have found renewed energy, weight loss that’s lasted after nothing else worked, reduced pain following years of suffering, and so many other powerful stories. We have a great staff; the people at the corporate office work with dedication and often for long hours because they believe in what we’re doing. And most importantly, we have great leaders; Partners who are doing extraordinary work building up others, sharing the Vísi message, and building teams with focus and optimism.
This Thanksgiving, I’m so grateful to each of you—Partners, employees, and customers—for making Vísi what it is, and for what it WILL BE as we work together. I can’t wait to see all the reasons to be thankful that the future will bring!
